How To Add A Question:

Now that you've got a quiz name, it's time to add questions.

How this software works is:

You add a question. Then you add answers for that question telling the software as you go along which is the CORRECT answer and which answers are INCORRECT.

You can go back and edit any of your choices at any time (if you navigate to a different page or exit the software, you lose your settings though. If you're going to create a LOT of questions and answers, it would be best to create them in a text document that you save and work on over a period of time, and then copy them from your document and paste them into the software when you're ready to generate your quiz.)

So let's walk through creating one question...

Towards the top of the quiz creation page, here's how it will look to you:

Notice that by default each Include This Answer setting is No, and each question and answer beyond that is disabled. The next answer box becomes active as you work your way through the software, and the same applies with the question boxes. You'll see what I mean as you work with the software.

In the advanced features of the software, you can choose single answer questions AND multiple choice questions. This is covered in detail further on in the documentation.

However, in the standard version of this software, you can only create single answer questions as you can see here:

You click on the drop-down menu and choose whether to disable that question from your quiz, or to include it as a single answer question. So in this example we make our choice here:

And now the option displayed is Yes - Single Answer.

And as you can see, the Question Text box has now become active:

Now, since the Question Text box has become active, you can enter your question text.

(Just like this applied for the quiz name - this applies to every single text box in this quiz creation software: if you enter any carriage returns anywhere in these boxes, your quiz won't work - it's as simple as that. The reason is because putting carriage returns into the text breaks up the code. Bear this in mind since this is a very important point.)

So in this example we enter some generic question text:

Here is an example of me inserting a carriage return into a text box. If I leave this in and then create my quiz, this WILL stop my quiz from working, so if you want your quiz to work, don't do this:

So now that we've entered the question text, let's start adding some answers to go along with this question.
