Hi
Louis
Was wondering if you could let us know at what stage the updated Volume
1 is at at the moment?
If you need any help with it at all, I can help with proofreading
or any leg work that doesn't involve audio files. Unfortunately I
haven't a clue when it comes to messing around the sound stuff ;)
Shout out if you need to mate ... you know my email address.
Cheers

Hi
Neil
Sorry for the delay in replying to this - I wanted to be able to give
you a definite answer.
Okay - my priority right now is February's product, surprisingly called
"99 Minutes (Volume 6)". ;)
That will be in the site (http://www.reprintrightseverymonth.com)
on the 1st of February.
Immediately after that I plan to spend around 10 days (that's how
long it will probably take) remaking Volume 1.
Here's what needs to be done:
Re-process all the EXE eBook videos into the new style of Flash -
that will probably take a day or two
Record PDF videos talking about both the Custom PDF Maker and I'll
probably cover PDF995 too. This will probably come to between 5 to
10 videos between an hour or two in length in total. These recordings
will take perhaps three or four days to do.
Edit and update the copy so that it's accurate for the new videos.
This will take perhaps two or three days to finalise.
Check everything over, bundle it all together, and upload it to the
site!
As you can see - there's a lot involved with remaking this. It almost
takes as long as recreating it all from scratch!
So *in theory* 99 Minutes (Volume 1) will be fully updated by around
the middle of February.
Thank you for your continued patience. :)
Sincerely,
Louis

Hi,
The links for 99min vol one don't seem to be working. Can someone
else check it for me to confirm.
I know that the one on page 5 wasn't working for me. - It's a link
to the first download.
Thanks,
Louis

Hi George
I couldn't say exactly why this would be happening, since after checking
and double checking links before releasing a product, I don't touch
any paths or usernames/passwords to avoid such issues.
It's worth noting that often my links to the download areas are in
the following format:
http://username:password@www.ADDRESS.com
I chose to set up my links within the PDF's that way since it means
when people click on the link, it automatically logs them in without
prompting them for details.
This makes things easier for the user, but I do also include the username
and password near the link in case they are prompted for any reason.
It's also worth noting that the automatic log in does not work in
all browsers. It consistently worked in Internet Explorer but apparently
in their latest patch Microsoft have disabled the auto-login feature.
And in my experience log in issues also occur when people include
spaces at the start or end of a username/password without realising
or use the incorrect case somewhere.
Sincerely,
Louis

Hi
Louis,
Did the link work for you?
I noticed the username in there. On a side note - there's a place
on one of my sites where I use the same type of URL (where the username
and password are in the link) and it stopped working about a week
ago. I haven't figured out why yet.

Louis mentioned it in his last post. In their latest security update
for IE, Microsoft disabled the ability to include a username &
password in the URL. Scammers were using it to trick people, because
they would use URLs like this in their emails:
http://www.paypal.com@www.myscamsite.com
Most browsers will ignore everything before the @ when they work out
the URL they should go to. So a newbie looking at the URL may think/assume
it is going to PayPals site (where they happily enter their account
information). Of course, the link is really going to myscamsite.com.
It would be nice if they hadn't disabled the feature, but I can see
why they did it.

Thanks
for pointing that out Jason.
