Hi
Again
Yet another question for those audio experts amongst us (is there
anyone else other then Louis??? :blueblink)
Now that I have successfully converted MP3 files to WMA files, are
they going to work on audio playing devices out there?
I have tried them on Windows Media Player and Real Player and they
work fine. Are there any other players out there just as popular and
if so, would WMA files play on them?
Cheers
Neil :help:
Louis
WMA
format (Windows Media Audio I think it stands for) is a Microsoft
format so it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't fully compatible. That's
the main reason I always choose MP3 since absolutely everyone can
listen to it.
Apart from Windows Media Player and Real Player, I believe Winamp
is very popular:

Hi
Louis
Thanks for the reply mate.
I think I have found the solution. I re-converted the WMA files back
to MP3 but at a much lower bit rate and have managed to reduce the
overall file size by almost a quarter without losing any clarity :)
Phew!!
Gonna have to catch up on this tech stuff :blueblink
Thanks
Neil

I
also have another question...
I want to know about converting a .rm file over to .mp3 and
hope one of you guys can help.
Actually, Louis, could you do it and how would you?
I want the Alex Mandossian interview you have from over a year
ago converted. Can we do this? What would it take?
To be completely clear, I'm talking about the approximate 50
minutes of audio that came with one of your early ebooks.
How about converting it to .WAV ?
Thanks,
Kennon :)

Hi Kennon
Actually, with the latest version of this product I offer the audio
in MP3 format.
You can download the latest copy of the PDF here:
http://www.allportpublishing.com/IPT/MandossianSecrets.pdf
(it's completely free to distribute)
Regarding converting Real audio into other audio formats - I remember
reading that Real don't want you to do this since they purposefully
chose to offer audio in their proprietary format.
For more information, you might want to try searching Google for:
+convert +real +audio +into +mp3 +software
However, one option that may work for this is Total Recorder:
http://www.highcriteria.com
I sometimes use this software to convert streaming audio into an MP3
so that I can listen to it at my convenience.

Hi
Kennon - Hi Louis
Another good place that you might want to try is www.snapfiles.com
who have a fantastic range of freeware and shareware.
This is where I went to find software to help me convert files - and
it is a very user friendly site as well.
Cheers

Thanks, Louis. Those who had gotten the original product like me
would have to pay how much to get the mp3 version?
:)

For any Mac users out there, a similar program (Mac OS X only) is
"Audio Hijack Pro".

As Louis said, very handy for recording streaming audio so you can
listen to it later on.
Cheers,

And actually - if you own a copy of "99 Minutes (Volume 4)",
on the video download page of that product you'll also find a special
"free bonus" link so you can get this PDF customised with
your details.
