Neil Day
Hi All :)

Been slow to post this year but I HAVE been lurking in the background to make sure the posts are still to their usual HIGH standard.

Quick question for you? What fonts do you prefer reading and writing websites in? Verdana, Arial, Other?

I have been playing around with the 99 MInutes websites and added a few bits here and there and converted the font to Georgia. Could you pop on over and have a quick look to see if it is OK?

Cheers

Neil

Arial is my favorite. I was taught that this font was easier for the eye to follow.

Neil,

I've heard that one particular font pulls or converts better than
any other. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which that is. Maybe what
Willie said above is for the same one.

If anyone has any data on tests done where all other things
being equal where one font outpulls the others, I'd be glad to
see that info.

Kennon :)

When I took desktop publishing, they said that sanserif fonts like Arial were more ledgible, in other words they are good for signs and headlines, while serif fonts are easier for the eye to follow, in other words easier to read. The common font of Times is a serif font.

I use Arial or Tahoma for my titles, and Times or Georgia for my body.
