Info-Profits Talk - Good CTR ?

Hello, everyone .
Just had a quick question , i am new at using google adwords and was wondering what google thinks a good ctr is ?
Also what kind of sales per click i should be looking at for lets say a 12.00 product?
I am not sure when i should be saying "this product is not working" and when to still keep sending traffic to it.

Jamie,

I have learned from those who are extremely successful on-line
that you ought to have at least 30 responses to whatever it is
you want someone to do before you can start judging the
effectiveness of it. Now, that doesn't mean 30 sales necessarily...
it could mean 30 opt-ins, 30 click-thrus, 30 something... whatever
it is you want your prospect to do.

Then another angle on this is that you should have at least 1000
(at the very minimum) and preferably 1500-2000 exposures of
your offer before determining the validity of your numbers.

And, of course, you want to take into consideration the quality
and source of the traffic to your offers as we all should know that
not all traffic is created equal.
