Hello

I was just wondering if anyone here knows about the domain bigpond.com (I think it's an ISP) and what their spam/filtering policies are.

I've been trying to contact a customer with a bigpond.com email address for two weeks now without a response.

They've since contacted me querying an order, but they obviously aren't receiving my replies. Unless I can resolve this soon I can see this ending in a chargeback. :(

Any tips on how you deal with such situations would be much appreciated. :)

There must be some way to get your email seen and read in such instances?

Sincerely,
Louis

Hi Louis,

I use Bigpond and I don't have any problems with email getting
through. I would suggest this persons own email filters is doing
the blocking.

Is it possible to send an email to them via your payment processors address?

If not I think I would just refund the transaction before a chargeback occured.

In the refund message I would state why - therefore can't contact
and suggest if they want to do business with you again in future
to include you in there address book so your mailings don't get
filtered.

Thanks
Allan

Hi Allan

Thank you for this.

It's frustrating when you can't even contact a customer with a one to one email. Oh well, looks like a cancellation and a refund.

Sincerely,
Louis
