Kennon
Hi IPTers,

Today I have a new subscriber who called me over a week ago
to inquire about my main Teleseminar product. He said he might
buy it that night. He didn't and now has come back to my site to
complement my copy and criticize the testimonials, all the while
saying that I'm "kicking butt" online.

So, he then wants to have a copy of my product for FREE in
exchange for a testimonial since he says he spent 10 times the
price of my product for another one on the same topic.

So, you IPTers, what do you think? Are my testimonials bad or as
he said "friggen WEAK" in his email to me?

Your response will be appreciated.

Kennon :)

Hello Kennon

Sounds to me like this guy is just looking for some free products. In my opinion a testimonial is as strong or weak as the person reading it perceives.
I think you are doing a fine job or you wouldn't be were you are today!

Roy,

I think I had part of my story wrong now. It appears the guy was
not the one who called me on the phone. Nevertheless, I found it
really fascinating that this guy had three URLs in his signature and
he didn't have testimonials on the page of the second one... it
had blank spaces for filling in testimonials. So, he either didn't
have them or is still building his site (which I wouldn't recommend
having it in your sig file until after it's more complete).

So, Roy, thanks for the feedback. Hope you're doing well. I had
not seen you around on-line in a while.

Hope to connect with you further soon. I've got another truck
driving subscriber I've hit it off well with. Hope you're not on the
road too much these days.

Take care,
Kennon :)

Kennon,

I think your product / sales page is looking great. In fact I think you were ahead of your time with the topic. Suddenly teleseminars are looking hugely powerful to me.
